Pre-Christmas

The main point for the visit from Nana and Max today was to do an early Christmas for the kids. They were VERY excited about this and couldn't wait to open presents. We did wait a bit until everyone was able to wake up and take showers. Devin and Desirae were VERY good about it, but when time came to open presents they were ready to go. First up was the presents they (Devin and Desirae) bought for Nana and Max. That included fishing stuff and it was cute how excited the kids were in giving them their presents. Then it was down hill from there as Devin and Desirae ripped through all their presents. It was good fun and it is always great to watch the kids like this.

We also did the Christmas dinner thing and made turkey and all the normal stuff. I think we have decided to just do all turkeys in the grill so we did that again today. The only problem we ran into was when we ran out of propane, but I had another tank - switch them out -and was up and running again. Even finished on time.
