The long day...

Today was a very strange day with the most noteworthy thing being one of the guys I work with falling out and being transported to the Antelope Valley Hospital via ambulance. I was not in the room when it happened, but basically it was like he had a seizure and just went down. The other guy that just happened to get back about 5 minutes before this happened did what he could and called 911. We really thought it was bad and figured he had a stroke or something. This was all around 1240 hrs and they drove him off around 1300.

We did get a call from his wife around 1520 saying that he had come too and that everything was looking good, no sign of stroke or anything else. I called the hospital about 1930 and they had released him just a few minutes before I called. I left a message for him at his house and he did call me.

So end result is he is okay and they don't know what happened or why. He said that he remembered feeling dizzy and then being in the ambulance around Rosamond.

We are all REALLY happy that he is okay and also a bit surprised. Everyone really thought that he was going to be down for the count. Obviously he has a few more doctor appointments he has to do, but everything seems normal now and like I said he is back home now.

What a really weird day!

Wow - strange how things like that happen. I am very glad that he is okay and it was not a stroke or something like that. Maybe stress or some chemical unbalance that knocked his system out of whack. Doctors appointments would be good.
